Lower Lid Surgery

Lower Blepharoplasty or Eyebags Removal is a plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedure that aims to remove lower eyelid puffiness or skin sagging or wrinkling. This results to a dramatic transformation of a tired looking eyes (or eyes lacking in sleep) to a radiant and glowing eyes.

Incisons are placed just underneath the lid margins or under your lashes (lower lids) and the fine scar shall be invisible a few weeks after stitch removal (7th day). The procedure removes excess fats that protrudes inside your lower lids including excess skin (if present) thus instantly erasing your lower lids wrinkles. The surgery also lasts 1.5-2 hours.

Upper Lid Surgery

Upper Blepharoplasty or Upper Eyelids Surgery is a plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedure that will restore loose or sagging upper lids to create a more youthful appearance. Beyond aesthetic improvement, it also restores eye function by excising excess upper lid skin (which can partially obstruct the vision). It can likewise resolve puffiness in some individuals with fat deposits on their upper lids. 

The procedure is also used to create upper lid folds in some people (mostly Asians) to give them wider eye contour.

Upper blepharoplasty is usually done under local anesthesia (patient awake) and the procedure doesn't take more than 1.5-2 hours. The incisions are placed in a way when your new folds heal, it will cover the scar. Expect a little swelling after surgery up to the 3rd-4th day. Stitches are removed on the 7th day. Little or no bruising is expected.
